Sikh da pind pran ey satgur ese da hi dhyan dhare;
Lai vadiyayee rahe nimana bhora bhar na maan kare.
Shabd guru da dhan hai ehda pyar guru di moorhi ey;
Har har aakhe eh har vele har charna di dhoorhi ey.
Sikh guru da kujh na manne harkhan nun te sogan nun;
Mann ke sab kujh daat guru di bhog riha ey bhogan nun.
Dili muhbbat mare thathan bulhan te ardas rahe;
Kahe avtar eho jehe sikh de satgur har dam pass rahe.

The True Master is the body and soul of the disciple, and he always contemplates on him;
Even after receiving all honours, the disciple remains humble and is not proud at all.
The word of the True Master is his wealth and love for the True Master in his basic asset;
He repeats the Divine Name every moment, and considers himself to be the dust of the True Master's holy feet.
The disciple of the True Master is blissfully indifferent to pleasure and pain;
He enjoys all this as the boom from the True Master.
His mind is replete with divine love and he is ever engaged in prayer;
Avtar says, the True Master is always by the side of such a disciple.
